Government transparency nonprofit American Oversight sued the DOJ seeking a court order compelling expedited processing of two FOIA requests targeting Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche's official communications about the Epstein Files review and the Jack Smith Report, timed to his Senate confirmation hearing scheduled for July 15-16, 2026.
